Magnolia Market at the Silos transformed a pair of historic grain silos and the surrounding downtown Waco property into one of the city's most recognizable visitor destinations. Magnolia says the Silos have welcomed guests since 2015, and the property now combines retail, food, gardens, play space and preserved or relocated historic structures across about 5.2 acres.
A visit is broader than shopping inside Magnolia Market. The grounds include Silos Baking Co., Magnolia Press, boutique-style shops, the Old Church, gardens, open lawn and other gathering spaces. That mix makes the Silos useful as a half-day Waco anchor, particularly for travelers who want to combine the property with downtown museums, Baylor-area stops or other Waco attractions.
Visitors do not need a tour to explore the public grounds during normal operating hours, but Magnolia also offers its own scheduled workshops and guided experiences. Third-party Waco and Dallas-to-Waco tours can be useful for travelers who prefer transportation or structured sightseeing, while independent visitors should compare the current calendar, parking guidance and any ticketed-event requirements before arrival.
